Hello, I'm Riikka. 👋

I’m a writer, content designer, and UX researcher with a passion for human behavior.

Currently, I'm working as a content designer at Finnair, Finland's flag carrier.

Outside office hours, I study (social) psychology and the behavioral sciences for fun and generally marvel at the human mind. Few things fascinate me as much as observing a phenomenon in the world and then reading an academic paper on it.

I also doubt I'll ever get tired of writing about the curiosities and foibles of the human mind—whether it's a reference-heavy personal essay on self-control or a story on my longing to spend time spend more time abroad.

In Untamed, Glennon Doyle says, "Shamelessness is my spiritual practice." For me, it's vulnerability. Vulnerability is the most sustainable source of inspiration. Vulnerability, I believe, is what brings writing alive.
